Trash Day Valet operates this website and provides a residential can-to-curb service. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
2. Information we collect
Contact information (name, email, mobile phone); service-address information; property-access information (bin storage location, gate details including any code you choose to provide, animal information, access conditions, special instructions); schedule information (collection days, pause dates); account and subscription status; and standard website usage analytics. Payment card details are collected and processed by Wix Payments and its payment processors; we never see or store your full card number.
3. How we use it
To check service availability and set up your account and route; to perform the service safely, sharing the minimum necessary access details with the route technician assigned to your stop; to bill your subscription and send service, billing, and account emails; to respond to your requests; to plan expansion using waitlist demand by ZIP code; and to improve the website and measure marketing.
4. How we protect access information
Addresses, gate codes, access instructions, schedules, pet information, and pause dates are stored in a private database that is not publicly accessible. Only the owner and authorized staff can view it, and route technicians see only the stops assigned to them. Gate codes are never included in emails and are not displayed in your customer account page.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your information. We share it only with Wix and the payment processors used by Wix Payments; our employees and contractors who perform the service, limited to what they need for their route; analytics tools you consent to; and authorities when required by law.
6. Communications
We send transactional emails about your account and service. Marketing emails are sent only with your consent, and you may unsubscribe at any time.
7. Retention
We keep account and service records while you are a customer and for a reasonable period afterward for billing, legal, and operational history. You may ask us to delete your personal information, subject to legal retention needs.
8. Your rights
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your information by logging into your account or contacting us. Residents of certain states, including Virginia, may have additional rights; contact us to exercise them.
9. Cookies
Our website uses cookies necessary for the site to work, plus analytics cookies where enabled. You can control cookies in your browser and through the site cookie banner.
10. Children
Our service is for adults managing a household. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
